Anyhooooooo, decided to update cause Angee’s face staring at me whenever this blog pops up gets a biiiiiiit disconcerting after awhile. No offence to Angee/face
Its oh-my-freaking-10th-may! Technically tomorrow’s day one of the last week of Term 2. I still remember how I felt when March Hols ended and Term 2 started – like throwing up and bashing something at the same time.
Well, some things don’t change cause LO AND BEHOLD I still feel the same way
Currently I have 2 things on my if-I-pass-I’ll-treat-xx-to-lunch-list.
1. Chinese JCT Compo (like how important is this!)
2. Physics Test

A few (weeks? one month ago?) back we watched Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo+Juliet in LA
Afterwhich Shipei and I had this very interesting conversation!
Shipei (after listening to Check Yes Juliet) : Actually, why are there so many songs crafted after the entire Romeo & Juliet theme?

Metamorphosis is Franz Kafka’s warped novella depicting a travelling salesman Gregor Samson’s overnight transformation into a GIANT COCKROACH. He tries to adapt and hides from his boss while clinging on to his human identity.
Plus he gets pelted with apples by his family.
Simply charming story, ain’t it.
Anyway the lyrics fit the song! Go sing it Check Yes Juliet’s chorus.

My last update was a cool 1 month 14 days before. Valentine’s Day! All I can remember of V Day is going to Ikea with a bunch of uhhh unlikely people and playing bridge<3
So between Valentine’s and 28th of March here’s what I’ve done so far
1. Went through 1 month of nomination process: campaigning, full-fledged self-promotion, spamming sweets at random people, wearing nametag/school uniform everyday, being screamed at, punished, emotionally scarred (joking), made friends!
All which culminated in TODAY; when results came out.

2. Leadership Workshop!
Haha okay this is a very loserish subpoint considering the other alternative (if I had gone to) would have been Outward Bound Malaysia!
But nooooo sorry I do not have any thought-provoking analysis of number of leech bites vs amount of clothing worn or anything. No sunburns, no scandals, no lasping into savagery.
Instead, I had a 10 day leadership workshop which was actually engaging and rather meaningful(: You’ll have to trust me on this one. I am actually rather the cynic when it comes to workshops such as these cause c’mon, how can leadership skills be taught in a stipulated time mannnnnnn.
BUT! We played very interesting games (ideas for TAorientation games next year xD) and I loved it the part where they blasted music and we wrote heartfelt messages on postcards to everyone.
3. SCMUN! (Singapore Chinese Girl Schools Model United Nations)
Spent the first 3 days of the March Hols in SCMUN, Economic & Social Council 1. Debated and passed resolutions on World Food Safety and Pegging of Oil Prices from USD to Euro. Took lots of photos, all on FB. made friends!
4. Chinese Cultural Competition organised by TJC for Sec 2 students! Facilitated with Shipei & Guo Yong. (LOL he has the same name as my father O: ) Saw my prettaye, must-have future IP junior from CEDAR! (who Shipei says looks a bit like me! THANKYOU ARH SHIPEI TY TY TY TY)
So! One and a half months, in black and white.
My one, biggest regret was not being able to meet up with 2E 07 during the March Hols cause of SCMUN ):
That meant not seeing-

Ughh.
And I’m really touched that you guys are actually interested in what’s happening in my life haha. By kaypo-ing on my blog or stalking me on FB or gossiping about the IP people hahaha.
At this stage in time, more often than not I lose interest in my own life. But somehow you guys still care(:
So I’m dedicating my update to you guys! Kae I dunno who’s gonna read this cause this blog has just gone through cardiac-arrest and this update is akin to attemptied resucitation hahaa.
OH AND I CUT MY HAIR chopped it off.
